love this insight into kate on the run. Kate's always been my favourite female character

Also i've realised i always like and relate to the mixed up female characters lol faith in buffy, kate in lost, meredith in grey's and now Elle in Heroes!

Plus thanks for putting the lost spoiler under a cut i'm trying to stay spoiler free, tho the jack show line worries me slightly what with my dislike for that character lol ahh well ignorance is bliss!!!

Kate is...well she's not my favorite, but she's not my least favorite. She's just fun to mess with really.

I loved Faith! She was my absolute favorite :)

And yeah, I don't like to spoil people who don't want to be spoiled. The Jack comment was just pointing some of my friends that way is all, sorry if it worries you.

Thanks for reading!

The line about the motel rooms was actually from a song that inspired this but when I heard it all I could think of was Kate. It shows how she really is always running.

And you're right. She doesn't want that to change. Kate could never settle down, IMO. She tried that with Kevin and she failed.

I'm glad you liked this! Thanks for reading!

This was really, really, REALLY good. I'm too tired to type a legible review, so I'll just leave with that :)

That was just beautiful.

She knows motel rooms next to dive bars, where you can see the ugly neon glare from your room. She knows the smell of stale beer and bad cologne on sheets that haven’t been washed in weeks and the sound metal keys make when they jingle in the pockets of the cleaning crew. She knows the lukewarm water of showers and the way it feels to fall asleep somewhere and know that everything you have is temporary.

Sorry to quote so much, but I really, really loved that section and especially the underlined part. It paints such a powerful picture and provides such insight into her character, I think.

Aw, thanks!

And quote away. I was trying to work all the things I wanted to say into a few lines and I'm particularly proud of that section, so I'm glad you liked it too.
