Kate is that kind of person IMO.

I'm glad you like Kate/Sayid, since I tend to write that. Kate and a baby...not so much, which is why this is darker and not fluffy like the prompt I got intended it to be.

I'm glad you like this! Thanks for reading!

Well Kate runs. That is the way she is. She's not going to settle down and be domestic and if she is there needs to be a valid reason. At least, that's how I am starting to look at it. Sometimes, I break that rule though.

Oh wow. Of course Sayid would need to love and care for his child, and of course Kate wouldn't let him (or anyone else). Sad and lovely.

Thank you! Sayid seems like the kind of person who would need to take responsibility and Kate would be totally against that.

I'm glad you liked this!

Thank you so much for writing this! I can see all of it happening... every last bit of it. I also thought it was just a really interesting post-island look at how things could be.

She loves her son, every mother loves their child, it’s innate and you can’t avoid it, but not enough for her to stick around so he can know his father. Not with her freedom on the line.

This makes me sad, both for Kate and for the child, but I can certainly see it. Like you said in the summary, she has a selfish streak. A stubborn streak, too.

Anyway, thanks again for writing this. It might not have been a happy fic, but I definitely enjoyed reading it. :)

Aw, hon, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I was really kind of worried about that.

Stubborn works too :) I can definitely see that.

Thanks for the great prompt!

That was SO not the point of writing this. So I don't know if that is good or bad.

I know it wasn't the point but it was the undesired effect on me when I'm in a weird mood. But it was good thing. It's just the whole idea of Sayid in the scene cracked me up for some reason.

It's cause it's a total WS for him to be in.

Interesting thought, Kate with a child.

I've seen it done. I on the other hand have never written it. Figured I'd give it a shot.

Thanks for reading!
