A mischievous LOL to this entire story. Considering we've never really been privy to the normal dynamic of the Others, before our people showed up and everything went to pot, this was pretty impressively realistic.

There's something almost very comedy-of-manners about this piece that I like very much. And yes, the whole go-round-the-table-scenario has been overdone so much as comedy that it's nice it's leavened with actual drama, actual truth. It's a small piece but nicely shows insight to who the character is, as well as showing bits of other characters (I especially liked the bit about Tom).
