Meredith watches her stand there, thisclose to naked, rambling, and she knows she definitely shouldn’t be this freaking turned on by that.

“It’s a good idea.”
“Yeah?” She stands a little taller, a little straighter, more confident. “You think?”
“The seductress. There’s a reason it’s a classic.”
“Is it working?”
“Yeah.” Her response automatic, then, “What?”
“Is it working?”
“I’m sure it will.” Odd, lengthy, dead giveaway pause. “For him.”
“For you?”
“Izzie I don’t…”
“Then why aren’t you looking at my face?”

“Okay.”
“I don’t think George is coming.”
She’s as dejected as Meredith herself was when Derek chose Addison over her. She can sympathize. “I’m sorry.”
“So am I.”
“His loss.” Meredith shrugs. “You look hot - you do.”
Izzie raises an eyebrow.
“That may be the tequila talking.”
“Let it talk.”
Meredith smiles. Deviously.
