I had marked the passage where Jack says his father writes his prescriptions to repeat here, until I read this:

“Claire?” This is Michael. Michael Dawson. From the island.” As if she needed clarification. “I’ve tried everyone else but no one’s listed and I just need for someone to -“

She hung up on him mid-sentence and had the number blocked the next day.

He may be one of them but his voice sounded like betrayal and so she cut him out of this fucked up family tree.Murdering Rat Bastard. I hope he dies miserable and alone and at his own hand, just as you have written here, damning him for all eternity. Me, bitter? Not much ( ... )

LOL. I love that you mark passages. And I seem to have a horrible vendetta towards Michael at this point, so I feel you. The idea of him being the one who died, of him commiting suicide, possibly out of guilt, was exactly where I wanted it to go on the show -- hence this.

And Jack is obviously losing it because there is NO way Christian is still alive.

Claire relates to everyone in some way or another. She's the one who's friendly towards everyone, who can be tied into everyone. It made sense to use her since I wanted to largely feature Jack. I feel bad though because I didn't explore Sawyer all that much, but the story didn't seem to call for it.

I have a firm belief that they will all still cling to each other in certain ways off island for the simple fact that they share this experience, and it's not exactly something they could ever explain to anyone.

I love that even though everyone is so messed up and seperate, they're still all intricately meshed together with Claire as their centre.

ahh love love loved this, just the right mix of darkness and a ray of hope.

As usual i love the way you write them all in character my favourite line was regarding michael
