Thanks! I just wanted so badly to see more of that scene, so I made my own. I'm impatient, I don't want to wait until Thursday.
The thing about them hardly knowing each other got me thinking about why they didn't choose anyone else, before I realized that no one major has died as of late, and bringing in characters from Meredith's past that we've never seen would make no sense. So I guess there wasn't much choice.
Nice. I really like this scenario. It's a good reminder that Meredith didn't have particularly close relationships with either one of those men, so one does have to question why they would be there in the first place.
Although, if they're the welcoming committee, where's George's dad?
Yeah, she didn't really know either of them, but I think she knew George's dad even less. Dylan I can understand, but Denny less so. It's going to be interesting to see how the show will swing this.
The problem I was having with Denny is he seems very sarcastic, kind of bitter. But you know he did die for kind of stupid reasons (no one thinking about blood clots, it taking the staff so long to figure out he had coded or whatever) so bitterness is semi-believable.
If she remembers it, I don't think that'll work too well for the show. It's kind of silly, I think.
