Kitchen Update

Where is my fresh basil?! I put it down on the counter five minutes ago, turned around to yell at a first year who dared to stick his finger in the marinating mushrooms, and when I looked again, it was gone!

If the missing ingredient is not found within the hour I will hang up my chef's hat and refuse to make my famous funghi e basilica on toast ( Read more... )

Blaise--What gets me is, why would anyone take basil, in the first place? Mint is so much tastier.

I suppose that I could study in the Room of Requirement this evening... though, it will me transporting an awful lot of arithmancy books and notes... oh, honestly, I don't really know if I can --getting the books to the RoR means taking time out of my studying and I've only completely and satisfactorily memorized the extra background information of 1/4 of the cuniforms....
