That reminds me! I was watching one of those bad "entertainment news" shows and they showed this picture of Brad Pitt filming a TV commercial in Japan. In the backround, someone was wearing a sick mask, and the show was trying to play it up, like, "OMG IT'S THE SPREAD OF SWINE FLU!!!!" ...They obviously didn't even try to do any research to figure out why someone might be wearing a mask like that in Japan. Oo I just thought it was really silly.

I've finished writing my thoughts for some of IN PHYSICAL's songs but I still want to write more about them, haha. Then there are other songs that I haven't even written one thing about yet. I really want to finish my post but it's hard to do the album justice!

LMAO!! XDDD!!! How can you not love the media? Especially when they're culturally ignorant. If the Japanese wearing masks is an indicator of the swine flu... then half of their population must be doomed. XD Silly, silly news!

Hihihi, yeah -- my "review" is the same way. Some songs I've got thoughts upon thoughts jotted down -- and some songs I've got nothing. XD And it doesn't help my my thoughts are scattered. LOL.

I'm just curious, do you agree with anything thelittlebuster says in his response to IN PHYSICAL here? I know his comment says that he likes the album... but something just sounds disagreeable in his comment. XD

Oh, I didn't know that thelittlebuster was here on lj, lol! Anyway, well, first of all, the guitar in Deeper was all composed and recorded by Ken. Oo But more importantly, I personally find the Muse comparison a little random. Matt Bellamy is hardly the first person to have made piano-heavy or new wave/synthpop-influenced songs. So yeah, I can't say that I find that comment entirely agreeable either. xD;

LOL, know him?

Okay, I figured that Deeper's guitars were all Ken... I was a little confused at first. XD Sure he had guest guitarists in the PV, but that's his live crew. A bit different than recording, lol.

I don't really listen to Muse much -- it's been a really long time. But as far as I'm concerned, I don't recall any similarities. xD Yeah, I wasn't quite sure how I'd respond to his comment since he seems like an interesting person to talk to about music ... but I found myself a bit confounded by his response, so I'm just gonna leave it alone. LOL. I just needed someone else to confirm that Deeper was Ken and that he's not Bellamy. xD And I was thinking the same thing- he's not the first to do heavy synth/piano experimental "stuff." But really, what band isn't experimental? I don't really think there's such a thing as "the father of experimental music" anyways.

Media did misinform some people about things. Its a mutating virus but its not mutating as we speak, What it means is that it already mutated and developed the capability of spreading from person to person. By saying its a mutating virus, all this people went and killed pigs.

I just think that if the media just told people what it is in a simple, straightforward way, people wouldn't panic. I'm not saying one shouldn't be careful and follow what they told us but its not like some people who are running around like headless chickens asking for the borders to be closed. I live in the border and we don't have a single case.

Yes, yes. That too... ironically enough, now there are some people who are afraid that people might infect farm pigs. At least they've stopped calling it the swine flu. I think what people are fearing about the mutating virus is that it will mutate again into something else and hit us again. But like I've mentioned, we've dealt, more or less, with the H1N5.. and we'll probably deal with the H1N1 sooner or later too.

Bah, the media is having far too much fun wreaking havoc with this type of news... even if people were told in a straightforward way, I don't think it would matter much. During panic and disaster is where capitalism is most comfortable in.

Yeah, its not like it can't be cured. It's not 100% lethal unless one doesn't properly take care of it. Once the virus was mutated with human DNA, it won't mutate anymore since it pretty much filled it purpose. The thing is that no matter what we do, this will keep up since there will be a new kind of flu mutating anytime

Yeah, people tend to freak even more the more straightforward one is. Like the smart Aristotle said "Capitalism is evil"
