Listen, and do what they say.

I just got both the new T.I. and Timbaland cd's. I can definitely recommend both, but would put the T.I. a little higher. This young man is really progressing, and his maturity as an MC is really coming through. I'm just really disappointed "Top Back", or its hot remix cousin, is not on there. I think I'll dl that song, and burn a new cd, with the ( Read more... )

I have yet to get an ipod and have been hesitant for the reasons you have just mentioned...nearly everyone I know that has them have had problems at one point or another. Either all of their music was erased or it's simply broke. I have considered buying another brand, mostly because I'm anti-apple. I don't mind if other people like them, they are just not my choice. So let me know what your decision is and what you think about it since I'm thinking along the same lines. Wouldn't hurt to have some advice on a product other than the ipod.

I'll look into it. I think Crystal's pretty happy with her Creative Zen. That seems to be the solid #2 choice. The new ones play videos too.
Another big advantage of going non-apple is that pretty much all the non-ipod players are compatible with napster and yahoo music, which I've heard are really good services. That is, if you're into that whole "paying for your music" thing.

I'm in the same boat. My Ipod broke after about a year. Of course, I got it off ebay, so maybe that's just what you get. Anyways, Katy told me about replacing the battery with a kit you can get online. I've just been too lazy to do it. I do love the Itunes format though. When I had it, it was always with me in the car, and i did take it pretty much everywhere. Maybe it just suffered too much abuse.

Yea, it was working for almost two years before it broke. I had it with me most places, but 98% of its use was in the car. Once you get used to having ALL your music right there in the car, it's really hard to get back used to just one cd at a time.

I loved mine until I dropped it then loved again then dropped again. Great player, none of the hype or software bundles of an I-pod.

Listen people, the zen is fabulous. I LOVE IT! It plays video, mp3's (any many other formats) holds pics, has an organizer, radio, AND voice recorder (perfect for my lectures). And, I don't have to use any sort of program for it. It has a program that makes it easy to add music and make playlists and other things BUT if I am on a foreign computer, I just open up my zen like i would open up a jump drive and just drag and drop. friggin awesome. I have no complaints. I just has way more freedom than the apple brand. Will has a zune, i will ask him his thoughts later.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOO CREATIVE ZENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!

PS- #70. thank you essad for admitting that i was right.

You're welcome, I give credit where credit is due.

Two questions:
1. How does an English major devise a paragraph with so many grammatical mistakes?
2. How in the world did you end up at #70?? At my last count, you were at 64, and I was at 65.

Thank god. This game was starting to get on my nerves. I know neither of us would have quit, it was just annoying me to have to keep checking the number.

Don't worry, I'll pick some place good to eat. It will be awesome. Because it will be free.
