het_bigbang is plugging along, but I think I'm officially blocked. I know what comes next, but not really how to write it. It could be because I spent the last couple of days in San Francisco and have had very little sleep and just need to step away for a bit, but. I don't know. I'm not so excited about the actual concept of Pottermore so much as I'm excited about the extra tidbits about the HP universe/characters she has stored away.

I want to buy my tickets for DH2 but I'm still waiting for my "friends" to tell me if they're going or not. :|

I'm hoping the little tidbits are good bits, haha. I wish I could say I'll ignore them if I don't like them, but I have this habit of trying to fit everything she says so they make sense in my one canon. I want to know what she'd say about Theodore Nott, I think that's one character she has more stuff about than she actually wrote about...

When is the het_bigbang due? If you do have the time, step away from it, but write something else. (I'm studying writing at the moment, and this seems to be a strategy for writer's block that actually works.)

This Pottermore thing has me intrigued. Fill me in when you have the details, please? I didn't know JKR was prepared to entertain HP questions anymore!

Not until September 25, but I'm hoping to get a month of editing in, so the deadline for me is closer to August 25? It's funny that I got this message just now, because after a weekend of writing 892 words total (I haven't actually had time to sit down and WRITE, but I'm thinking even if I did I wouldn't be able to write much still) I've decided to write something else completely new too! I'm glad that's what's taught in writing too, haha ( ... )

It's great that you're allowing yourself adequate time to edit, too. Very important. I'd love to read this when it's finished!

This Pottermore sounds absolutely amazing. I read somewhere that it's exclusive for the first few months? Then it's open to all users? Either way, I'm sure someone will be compiling all the new data somewhere for us to peruse. How amazing - I love backstory stuff so very much! <3 I'll probably be in Ravenclaw, though I'd love to know more about the Slytherins.

Whew. Mouthful. :p
