I could basically answer this with my post from a few days ago ("Mood Music" was the title I think). Music is definitely a thing that stirs up memories and emotions for me. It could be anything from a classical piece to a jingle from a commercial. I don't think I've ever associated any books with music or vice versa, but it's probably because I concentrate better w/o the music, especially if it's songs I like b/c I'll either want to stop reading and just listen/sing along or turn the music off so I can actually take in what I'm reading.

I can always seem to tune out the music to the point where it's just background noise when I'm reading... sometimes I'll start and realize I can't remember the last however many songs I've been listening to. But it always seems to get into my subconscious and influence the way I read and experience stories.
I do have moments where I can't concentrate to the words on the page because I just want to listen to the music and sing along, but when it just won't tune out like usual that's a bit of a sign that I'm not in the right frame of mind for an extended period of reading and should try again later xD
