I'll second the agreeing. I'm fond of smaller, quieter parties that contain a fair number of people I know. Challenging, this. :)

Yeah, especially when a lot of the people you like have been lost to the mists of time.

You've given me an idea, however. I'm going to expend some energy this summer getting small groups of awesome people together during the day.

It is pretty quiet out here. I am lately frustrated by a good lack of on-line community. Bleagh. I thought diaspora might plug that hole pretty well but it seems to have failed in the adoption and the further invites i was promised have not been forthcoming.

What's Dreamwidth like? I've heard the name dropped recently...any ideas?

My friend Krista seems to like it over there... But it also is probably a lot more difficult to port over an entire online social group.

Hello! Still here!

I have a spare dreamwidth invite if you want one. It's easy to transport your previous posts over, and you can get it to automatically xpost back to LJ again if you want to keep both journals up to date.

However, to be honest, I have stayed here rather than moving over as it's a LOT quieter over there...
