I find myself in a little predicament. This upcoming semester i might be wearing a two piece bathing suit and competing in an all-male pageant at Drew University. In any other circumstances, I feel oblidged to decline. Howeve, under the philanthropic circumstances where all the proceeds will go to the pediatric cancer charity at morristown

You don't have to do it just because the money is going to a good cause. This is obviously giving you anxiety. You already participate in "good causes" and shouldn't be guilted into participating if you're not interested in the event itself. Don't you already have enough to worry about?
