I watched 10 Things I Hate About You for the millionth time the day after I read Perfect Fifths and was astounded at how perfectly Heath Ledger would have fit Marcus. His part in 10 Things I Hate About You is so Marcus-like in so many ways.

Wasn't he Marcus-like? And Kat (Julia Stiles) quite Jessica-like? The whole "experimental", unlikely couple theme going on.

I'm only on Second Helpings now. But by God, I swear to get through the entire series in the next two weeks so I can move on with my life, haha.

this one's come up before, and i wholeheartedly agree. altho jessica is not quite as outwardly bitchy as kat. it is just the journal entries that show that side of her. i think, especially in the first 2 books, that in "real" life jessica was sweet as pie. or, darling ;)
