Why I should not take Benadryl when I am tired and have to drive somewhere

This morning I had to take a dose of Benadryl allergy/sinus relief medication because my sinuses were draining and I couldn't stop coughing. Usually medicine takes about 20 minutes to kick in for me, but this kicked in around 5-7 minutes. I noticed immediately that I could breath and I wasn't coughing. Next time, try Dimetapp. Less drowsy-making because it contains both the active ingredient in Benadryl (a downer) and the active ingredient in Sudafed (an upper). They argue it out, leaving you about the same.
