I want to go home. I haven't been in forever and I think that I'm tired. I'm tired of feeling like my life is on hold. I'm waiting for something and what that is, of course, I don't know. Alas, when I do get back I'm not sure what I'm going to do, where I'm going to live or what I'm hoping to accomplish. I honestly don't know what friends I have

This is exactly where everyone is now a days.
I guess, first you really need to figure out what your passion is, what do you really enjoy doing, and then figure out how you can include that in a career.

I have actually have always in visioned you as some kind of teacher. I know that may be weird, but your personality to me seem like a role-model type.
