I've run with a 19" and dual 17"'s at home for a long time now. I rately use the 17"'s (on on either side), but when I need them, they're a wonderful option ( ... )

VDM's are nice, the aix mainframe at the office runs one, and I've played with them on my pc's before. It's not bad, and for task switching it works well, but the thing I run into is when I'm working on this one task, and the amount of online reference material I am wanting to use at one time, just outgrows my display space. (pathetic look ( ... )

The sphere was virtual. You put on goggles, and make it scroll by turning your head. The more you turn, the faster it scrolls, and as you return to center, it centers. Quite ingenious.
