well, what did you expect? i used to play quake 3, unreal tournament, and warcraft 3 like mad on that thing. not to mention the number of papers i wrote on it. :)
Well, that explains the wear pattern on the keyboard ;)
I'm not really complaining, it was just time for a new one. Heck, they keyboard must be some 5 years old now at least. I do like the new keyboard. No power button on it, but the delete-> key is worth it on the trade-off. ;)
Looks like life is going well in your corner of the world.
Nothing.. .nothing... beats an old IBM keyboard for right amount of travel and key clicks.. oh, how I miss those!!
If I remember, my only gripe was the size of the enter key....
Got to say, the new dell latitude keyboard just isn't up to snuff.. it's really slowing me down and making my wrist ache again.. I think the inspiron keyboard was a little tighter than this.
I'm really tempted to try the apple pro usb on my pc to see how well it would work there. I'd almost consider buying one to take up to work then. If I ever get around to seeing how well it maps to the pc maybe you ought to try it and see if you like the feel. It's not as clicky as the old ibm keyboard I used to have, but I really like the feedback on this thing. More and more. You might too.
although, tis odd to think of a pc with an apple keyboard. ;)
