I just realized that yesterday was my 12-year LJ-iversary. (!!!) Ye gods, I can't think of anything else I've done for 12 years with relative consistency, give or take an apathy year or so. I became aware of LJ through the X-Men fandom in 2002, and an acquaintance gave me an invite code (because those were still necessary) to start my own journal later that year. (I still miss when fandom lived primarily on LJ.)

I started in 2005. So many friends I knew were on it and after I moved, I just finally succumbed.

I am not sure exactly when we met, but I know where--it was at a party at Shadesong's place. I remember hearing 88 lines about 44 women lf the sci-fi variety (thought I forget the exact title) and being pretty impressed :)

Oh, was that the Thanskgiving that S.J. Tucker showed up to? That day was the first time I had played my own stuff in public for many years, and a good chunk of why I'm a performer now, I think. I knew I'd known you for a while, but I couldn't pick up the when and the where. Hi!

I started my LJ a year after you - almost to the day!! - though I think it was another year (or 2, or 3? hell, I don't know) after that I found you via Shadesong and your mushroom haiku. (Poetry *and* a pun? Yeah, I had to friend you.) ♥

I started my LJ in 2003, because I was getting married and had found a budget wedding community I liked. I don't remember when we met, but my guess is that it was through Kimberly_a, who was one of my first friends.

It would be awesome if LJ would show a friends' history -- who you friended when, in chronological order.
