Very very lovely. Chris/Jal doesn't interest me personally that much but I do think it makes sense and I am surprised that this is the first fic I've seen of the pairing.

This was just so perfectly in character as to practically be canon, and so sweet as to make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

I, like, could die happily right now. I ditto everything 15north said, and would like to add that Jal's I'd like someone to mean something is so. Freaking. PERFECT.

Jal's insecurities are so obvious, beneath her layer of sarcasm and glares and I just know she's terribly insecure inside. I love her, yes, so I'm glad that line worked well; it felt the most her to me.
