contrary to popular belief, it's not global warming; it's el nino that's fucking up winter, yo. no really - the efects of global warming won't really be noticable until a few decades form now - the hype's all cause now is when we have to act to reverse it so those efects don't come into play. our current warm weather is due to a phenomenon of the jet stream - we're on the southern end of it (unseasonably warm whether in the east) and the western states are on the northern end (a rediculous amount of snow in colorado). so yeah. not global warming.
