I agree - my pastor said of the tsunamis last year that we (as Christians) must read the individual stories to break our hearts - and they should be broken.

However, I would like to know why I'm not your friend (on livejournal, I mean) - after all, you're my friend.

If I'm not mistaken, the burden of initiative is in your hands. Indeed, you are my friend, but I do not appear to be your friend. You did not choose me, but I chose you, so to speak. I elected you to friendship way back in early August, but you haven't been checking your site lately, so you have only subscribed to 2 people, Racheal and Brian.
