2. :33 yay! A friend linked me to it so I'm strongly considering watching it now.
3. IAWTC. I don't know, either, but I do wish it would end. :/ It's not interesting or fun.
4. Duuuuuuuuuude. I love nature-ing and studying languages so that sounds awesome!
5. :3333 That's sweet! ansemaru and I met on a Persona roleplay on Insanejournal, so I can relate 100%

Really, you should watch MLP for the same reason I've begun reading Homestuck - it just makes the internet easier this way! XD I also think it's just plain amazing for what it is. If you ever need something to brighten up your day and let your brain take a bubblebath for a half-hour or so... load up an episode!

And yeah, languages are my thing! My "dream job" would be to localize Japanese RPGs, but I'm not sure if that'd realistically happen. Japanese is hard, I mean... really. I love the sadistic challenge of it, though.

Also, I was wondering where you guys met! See, the internet really DOES have everything you need on it, am I right?

I AM AT YOUR COMMAND, ALMIGHTY SERPH BUTT

1. What was your first exposure to anime/manga?
2. Are you the neatfreak type or are you content to let things be less than ideally clean/organized?
3. Give some examples of the types of songs I'd find on your typical music playlists.
4. A videogame you never thought you'd like but ended up really enjoying?
5. How'd you first get into/hear about Homestuck? What were your initial thoughts about it?

1. Looking back through the annals of time, sources suggest Pokemon was the first anime I ever watched. The first anime I watched and identified as "anime", rather than "this cool show I watch", however, was Tenchi Muyo ( ... )

1. I think Tenchi ends up being a really good first "oh, so THAT'S anime" show, but maybe that's just because so many people I know got hooked that way. I guess it ends up standing out from your typical cartoon enough for people to notice something's different.

3. You have no idea how reassuring it is to know that other people have the same nerdy as hell music collections like I do.

4. My greatest fear is being unable to make my Shepard look hot. Please tell me I can make a hot main character, either gender.

5. That's really interesting that you hated it at first! But I think previously-hated-but-then-loved things end up forging really strong bonds with people. I suppose because the criticisms aren't as hard to deal with because you had plenty of your own to begin with, among other things?

But yeah, good fanart is basically a gateway drug to everything.

[[And here come the nerdiest words I've ever typed: I met my fiancee, krile, at a Final Fantasy message board. She had a Rydia avatar and she was a moderator, so I was obviously impressed!]]

And then all her base were belong to you?
