It's like Christmas, but in July. Also you have you buy your own presents.

There are far too many good games coming out this summer for me to keep up with. It doesn't help that I keep discovering awesome older PS1 games that I never played and then snuggling up with my PSP to experience them.

Right now I'm juggling:

Paper Mario (Virtual Console) - My first N64 VC purchase! I always wanted to go back and play this game ( Read more... )

progress!!!..?, oh god stack o' games, i play too many games, gaming

You forgot to mention Rune Factory. ;-;

Also I'll bet you never beat the GBA version of Riviera on purpose because you somehow knew there'd be a PSP version that would be better and you'd play that instead not to mention you still need to play Yggdra Union too.

Nope, never gonna catch up. :D

Well, Rune Factory is more of your kind of game, so I didn't list it. But I'll probably play it myself eventually.

I purposefully didn't list GBA games because I would cry forever if I counted up how many I still need to beat XD;

And yes a little blue bird told me that there would be a PSP version of Riviera so I stopped playing the GBA version. I'm also holding off on Final Fantasy V just in case they make a DS remake of that, too :o

I know the feeling, although my list isn't as long as yours. Sometimes I feel pressured to finally start a game, and I worry because it feels like a chore.

that big box of Growlanser games that Working Designs brought out
What is it called? I'm a big Growlanser fan (although I've only been able to play II and III), and don't think I ever saw this!

I think those are what were included in Growlanser: Generations, but I say "big box" because I got the deluxe version with all the goodies inside xD

On the one hand gaming should never feel like a chore or obligation, but on the other hand, if you push yourself to get into a game or pick it back up again you can oftentimes end up enjoying something you might not otherwise have experienced.

I got so excited for a minute there XD But I'm glad I didn't miss any games.

That's definitely true! Several games that started out that way ended up becoming my closest favorites :)
