AWWW, SOUNDS LIKE SOMEBODY NEEDS A HUG!!!! - so, consider this one, and snap out of the doldrums, second kid, you have alot to be thankful for (i.e., fixed-windshields-while-you-wait and good food at grandmas, even though it gave you heartburn!!) so concentrate on the positive and shoo off the negative.....
Oh, I saw Beyonce singing "At Last" in that record-label movie yesterday! Good but hard to escape how sick I've been made of that song by pop culture at last. Poor go-to song-cue songs.
Done to death, I agree, but I thought it was cute at the ball. However, we switched to cspan for the another ball (i think the armed services one) and they were dancing to "At Last" again. That's got to be weird for them, even if they like the song.
1. I wouldn't really care if the Obama Spider-Man story was short and lame. I just think that's preferable to saving a copy of the NY Times or something. Because I don't really have a place to put a newspaper to save for years and years, but Jesse does have means of keeping/storing comic books.
2. My main problem was all the shots of old, African-American women crying during the inauguration. Come on, Journalism. You can do better than that.
3. I didn't watch any of the balls, but I did see Michelle Obama rocking out to the Jonas Brothers, and it was actually pretty awesome. Also, Jay-Z doing "99 Problems" would've been the best.
4. I think that would've helped. I watched the ceremony in my conference room, and as soon as his speech was over someone turned on the light and said he needed to have to room for a real meeting and we all went back to work, so the magic didn't really last.
How about Kid Rock? There was a pretty great interview with him on FOX News. I actually loved the Beyonce interview. It was so sweet that she got all teary eyed and said it was the most important day of her life. Take that, Jay-Z.
I don't know how you watched so much inauguration coverage! I'm captivated by Barack and Michelle Obama, but there was a lot of space-filling going on by the media (see: interviews with Kid Rock and Beyonce).
