I don't know why I've been in such a mood. It started with such pessimism for this weekend. Sure, it wasn't as good as last weekend, since I saw a million people I know last weekend plus two of my very favorite bands. But this weekend was still fun! The Bond movie was an event. Seriously, I would just like to be face down in a plate of Stovetop stuffing and cranberry sauce like, right now. I don't want to go through the 7 or 8 days of work between now and then.

Word! I wish we could just skip ahead and kind of read the cliff notes of what happened between now and Thanksgiving.

I really like Stovetop stuffing, too. Usually my family makes "real" stuffing, so I make Jesse eat the boxed stuff a few days before Thanksgiving so I don't feel cheated.

I've made "real" stuffing before, and it's fine, but damned if I don't prefer the chemical herbs and spices that come from Stovetop. Also, it goes on turkey sandwiches better because it sticks together really well. I have been known to make a batch of Stovetop just to put on sandwiches.

Really! I've found real stuffing better/stickier for sandwiches. I remember Stovetop getting a little too dry sometimes. Maybe I just suck at making it, though. ;)
