I realize I didn't write at all about August: Osage County. Jesse and I went last weekend as part of our newly minted tradition of taking ourselves to Broadway for our anniversary. Oh, Michelle Obama made me tear up last night. (I am knocking on my floor just to be safe.) I will be so nice to have a first lady who isn't a Stepford Kewpie doll with shady vehicular manslaughter in her background. And those little girls! God. They are so cute.

Good call! I never really thought about the "affinity for English" angle, but you are completely right. It would be so nice to have a president we can respect! Did you watch Bill last night? I didn't get a chance to watch it yet, but I thought of you when I heard snippets on the news.

I did watch Bill! For a while, I was soured on him, but now I think we're cool. Obama rocked it last night.
