This week? This week was basically all about food.

First off, the last ten days of March was Dine-In Brooklyn, where participating restaurants offered three-course meals for just $21.12. Unless she slipped a bunch more croissants into her purse and snuck bites of them all day without my knowledge*, I think she is exaggerating.

!!!! I went to Applewood the last time I was in NYC because my friend christina's friend's boyfriend was a waiter there. It was soooooooo good. mmmm. I loved it! I've been to a lot of relatively nice restaurants and have only really found a few to be worth the price of the meal. Applewood is one of them. mmmmmm. I had a lemon torte there that I still dream about. I wanna go back!

I had a really good apple dessert. The duck was good, too, but I'm not a huge duck person so Jesse's risotto might have been better.

It's definitely a go-with-your-family-type place. Mmmm, tasty. If they had come a week earlier, you could have done the Dine-In prix-fixe.
