I've an unexpected enthusiasm for minor DIY! I've installed blinds, raised the bed by 30cm to store the comics archive, and put fitted storage into an alcove. I like sawing, drilling, standing back from things and going 'yep', and laying hands on a structure I have created and giving it a good shake to demonstrate its solidity ( Read more... )

Sadly, I can't do this, and I'm stumped as to what to do with them. Why are comics boxes the wrong shape for EVERYTHING?

Well done on the bookcase-fitting though. I approve of your kicking technique, I understand professionals use it all the time.

I like this so much! Particularly the little spanners. One of our lecturers has it on a T-Shirt. I also like 'Shut up and write something', but I've lost it - I will be putting it over my desk, I think.
