Where is the fish ladder? *ahem* I kept seeing signs for it, but not signs of it.
Also, a sentence of this made me vaguely depressed. It was the part where you said, "talk[ing] about more than just times we used to be friends" because I have worried that that is what is/may become of us. I might just be paranoid. I think I have a tendency to bring up old friend memories in general though, because I like to relive the good parts of my past. If this bothers you, be sure to let me know (nicely), please. On a related note, I find that Nathan is very good at producing the feelings you've described - the being very fun to hang out with and having the healthy balance of reminiscing.
I am also quite excited about BlissFest. And camping! And (possibly) seeing you this weekend! CALL.
