. . . . a formal ball? Well, it should be nice for most of us to get together, at least. There's some of us that have never even met each other. As for the laws, there seems to be quite a few people around now interested in just that. Finally.

You can't go wrong with boosting the morale of the city, every now and then. I know there will be plenty of time for discussing all the bits and parts to this law-making later, but people outside of the police force will be taking part in that as well, right?

Absolutely they will. Been thinking about drawing up a committee to decide what gets written, and then having a city-wide vote on what gets passed.
