But England is the champion of horniness and runs around naked in other nations' houses.

He's tsundere though. He watches for a while, yells at them, then goes to masturbate later.

Working women not stigmatized? MY FUCKING ASS.
We only get babies because the State gives us money.

And stfo with religion, dammit :/. We didn't have babies when we were really Catholics, so this is a stupid argument to pretend we don't have any 'guilt'.

But... but.. but my mum isn't a whore D':

But France is edgy and goes against what everyone else is doing. If that means knocking everyone up to pass on your silky French genes then so be it (And part of me cringes when I realize that's happened before).

The religion argument made a little sense, I think, but only if it were for saying that there are MORE babies.

Aw, I don't think your mom is a whore. This article comes off as "BE LIKE FRANCE AND HAVE LOTS OF SEX". Which I guess is a sadly stereotypical thing for the French author to say. Way to go, editorials.

Wut? The only one who would have wanted us to "pass our silky French genes" is Pétain >>. And I do wonder how we could pass them anyway since people know they don't exist.
God, our natality isn't high just 'to fuck up with everyone'.

The religion argument doesn't make any sense because France isn't a religious country anymore. It would have been more pertinent to talk about the society in itself, and not only the women.

Huuuh. Not really. Lots of sex doesn't mean lots of babies as far as I know. The article comes off as someone making promotion of his country by making the reality prettier than what it is - and that is stereotypical.

That is SO not French of you to say you aren't superior :'D (Really, I'm kidding. I think the "weed out the locals with babies and rape" was an English thing with the Scots. Probably a few other imperialistic countries thought it was a good idea too).

I am agreeing with you on the religious argument.

I think the author is just a bad author. I mean, anyone with half a brain would be able to see him thumping his nationalism around. The fact that he's French doesn't really help because of preexisting stereotypes that the French view themselves superior on everything.

The reality is as far as nationalism, every French person I have spoken to has been very critical of their country. I'm sure there are those that are all "Viva la France!", but that goes for any country (Various forms include "God bless America!" and "Rule Britannia!", "For Allah!" etc). No one is special in that aspect.
