Day 2 - Favorite anime you’ve watched so far
This is hard. Really, really hard. I'm going to settle with:

Okay. So it's like, not deep and meaningful at all. Ever. But it's so ridiculous and fun. I mean, it's easy to marathon, you can talk over most of the series when you're in a large group, and it's so stupid. You can make fun of it, you can take it seriously, you can scream at the television during the 14-hour fights.

I love Dragonball Z. It was also my first fandom, even though I didn't really participate. I'll admit to loving DBZ, partially out of nostalgia, but really, it's so bad it's great.

For the record, I think Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann is a close second, if I wanted to pick a good anime.

"but at the same time, i wish there was something i wanted"
as badly as he wanted to fry himself

It's from a poem called "The Lesson of the Moth" by Don Marquis, which I've helpfully linked to my writing journal there.

I think this quote applies to me; I don't feel passionate about most things, and get annoyed with people who have chosen a calling, or at least a cause. I just remind myself that at least they're happy doing what they're doing.
