ideas for Jean's birthday

Ok guys, I need your help. Jean's 3rd birthday is in two and a half months. She keeps saying she wants a "red cake" and loves her new ladybird (ladybug) backpack so I'm thinking of going with a ladybird theme. We've already booked the church hall at the playgroup, with the back room where you can fit a bouncy castle. I need ideas or links to UK

Pin the Spot on the Ladybird could be good for littlies as an alternative to Pin the Tail on the Donkey, as everyone could win!

Asda is pretty good for getting fillers for kids goody bags.

Games - perhaps you could play 'hunt the ladybird' where you either make cut-outs (or you even used to be able to get ladybird chocolates) and hide them around the hall. Prizes for finding them all or play it like an easter egg hunt.

I know I've seen those ladybird chocs somewhere, I'll have to look. Might have been Yellow Moon.

I'll definitely check ASDA for goody bags. I'm thinking of getting plain bags if I can find them and customising with stickers.
