[The voice cuts off, and suddenly the video feed snaps on, revealing a human with a very familiar hairstyle, staring in disbelief at the screen.]

We're silly looking because we've been turned into creatures called "humans", Pinkie. They're like... well, I've never seen anything like them. But I've learned a lot about them in the past month. And as long as we're here in Johto, we're going to look like this.

[She seems to be thinking for a moment. Her eyes are glanced upwards to the sky, and her head is tilted to the side. But really, all there is is monkeys crashing symbols together when she tries to digest this information.

They must live really far from Ponyville if you've never heard of them, Twilight Sparkle! But how come we're...them, now? [A gasp suddenly interrupts her own talking.] Omigosh, I bet we totally have a curse on us, right?

[She looks across to her feet, since she's still seated. You can't see it through the strange shoe contraption she's wearing, Fluttershy, but she is wiggling her toes. Clearly it was the thing to do.]
