HERE IS AN UPDATE, IF ONLY TO STAN. YOU GUYS. THERE ARE LESS THAN 12 HOURS LEFT OF THE FIRST ROUND AND PARKER (from Leverage) IS LOSING BY LIKE, 8 VOTES THE LAST TIME I CHECKED. I AM BASICALLY WILLING TO TRADE IN ANY OF MY VOTES IF YOU WOULD VOTE FOR HER, SO... COULD YOU?

FMM is also so intense, and every year I feel like it surprises me.

I know right?! And some of the match ups this year--especially with that first round alone--were SUPER close and painful to watch, guh, and now Eleven versus Scully? I can't even imagine being seriously into either of those fandoms because I would explode from the tension.

How are you by the way?!

I am super awesome, thank you for asking. What about you, aside from the whole having-to-start-a-blood-feud-with-CJ-Craig-fans thing? ;)

I joke because I am always naive enough to believe that people will be reasonable about these competitions since, you know, the characters are fictional. But that is never the case. Well, except for one absolutely hilarious post for the Stargate Sam Carter fans who wrote,

Let me get serious for a minute: We know what we're up against. This is Dana friggin' Scully we're talking about. My childhood hero, the very definition of everything totally awesome. We understand full well just how badly we're going to get slaughtered...However. We're not just gonna roll over and take it, because Sam would never do that. "Surrender" is not in her vocabulary. I'm great!! Well, I have finals next week (blergh) and so this week is disgusting (double blergh) but everything's pretty swell!

And gosh, fandom! I am one of those people who will be like I WILL NOT CAMPAIGN FOR ANYONE IT STRESSES ME OUT TOO MUCH because I think last year I was FREAKING OUT about Lorelai (so on that note I am a total Lorelai stan but I've been reading through Caroline campaigns instead of doing anything productive so she seems like a serious hbic--however, I LOVE NEAL I AM ROOTING FOR HIM) but guh, this year. I mean PAAAAAAAAAAAAAARKER. I know Leverage is pretty small of a fandom but I was holding on hope that since West Wing has been gone for awhile that Parker would do well because I think she was trooounced by her competition last year, SO I'M PROUD OF THAT SMALL MARGIN NONETHELESS. But yes I AM ATTEMPTING to be semi-reasonable?? I don't think it's working though because being around Tumblr has turned me into a DAMNITALL, LESLIE KNOPE / KELLY KAPOOR / DANA SCULLY MUST WIN FOR ALL OF WOMANKIND which is definitely ( ... )
