I'm just saying, the source I trust taste-wise couldn't keep from busting in their pants every time somebody said "in rainbows" and it was nowhere near as interesting as they made it sound.

And truth be told, I kind of agree with you about In Rainbows. I mean, I definitely LOVE a few songs on it, and I still think it's a decent album, but it was definitely overhyped.
You've got an interesting list of favorites, and it's considerably different from mine:
Albums I listen to!
1) Amnesiac
2) HttT/Kid A
3) OK Computer
4) In Rainbows
Albums I DON'T.
5) The Bends
6) Pablo Honey
I personally like their weirder, slightly electronic stuff. A lot of people scoff when I say that Amnesiac is my favorite, but it's got some GREAT songs on it! It's probably not the 'deepest' album, or the most intensely complicated, musically speaking. It just happens to be the one I listen to most often.
I feel a little guilty about OK Computer being so far down, but honestly, I've just worn it out. It was my ( ... )

Amnesiac has my favorite special edition packaging. I wish bands would do their packaging with that level of creativity more often. It's a friggin' library book with a cd in the back pocket!
