i will never understand why everyone worships jawbreackers and jets to brazil. i think they're next to led zeppelin in most overrated bands of all time.

but i think by far, nirvana is the most overrated band of all time.
jawbreaker is a period piece really. if you remove them from that time period, i dont think anyone would have liked them. but they influenced a lot of the acts that followed. that i believe is a bonified act, anyone that tells you otherwise is 1. too embarrassed or hip to admit it. 2. stark raving mad.
that might be a bit extreme.
i never got that big into cartel, i'll grant you that it's catchy.
there are a lot of overrated bands.
jawbreaker very well might be given too much importance. i guess hindsight in 20/20.
