Mellowing out

I've been trying to make a conscious effort to read and watch things of some social/educational value lately. With all the trash that's on TV, in print and online, it's hard not to skim the gossip section in the free dailies on the train on my way to work, watch the big blockbusters just to say that I've seen them or browse forums just to pass the ( Read more... )

It might not be a bad idea to get a netflix account. It helps shape what you want view. I would subscribe except I don't think I get around to watching even one movie a week to justify the cost. PBS has alot of good programming too. It's been awhile since I've checked it out.

Sounds like it's time for a brief vacation to somewhere sunny to break the monotony.

A friend of mine once said, that happiness is everything. Do what makes you happy and find enjoyable, whether or not it has any constructive value. ;)
