Haha shame cupcakes would get killed in the post.

How did you get the colour effect in the cake itself?

I have attempted cupcakes a couple of times, but I'm not too good :(

true, but i can send you a virtual cupcake, yus?

i just divided the cupcake mix into bowls and added different food dyes. then i just put a layer from each bowl into the cupcake case. it took a while..
i expected them to have just 4 layers, blue, green, yellow and red. maybe the way they ended up has something to do with the way the cupcakes get baked, the middle is the last to get fully cooked.. idk..
awww. if you want, i can copypasta the recipe i used for the cupcake mixed, it turned out fine both times.

I'm sure my fella wouldn't mind being my cupcake tester again!

I kind of gave up after a while :(

Ingredients:

110 gm self raising flour
110 gm butter
110 gm sugar
2 medium eggs
2 tablespoons of milk

Method:1. Get all your equipment out, mixing bowl, wooden spoon, paper cases, tablespoon, knife, baking tray, cooling wire rack, scales, sieve and set these out on the work surface. Place the paper cases into the baking tray ( ... )
