This was not our supposed happy ending.

That we can still be friends rather than of strangers.
It used to be sweet. Now it's only bitter.
My feelings for you would always linger.
It was lovely and heartbreaking.
Can't let you go even if we’re crying.
It was our dreams and goals that brought us together.
But those same dreams have torn us apart forever.
It was sweet, I never wanted it to be bitter.
Our story never had its happy ever after.

Author's note : It's been a year already. I wrote this hoping i would learn how to play the guitar and put music to this. I wasn't able to learn just yet, but I still want to share this. I wrote this piece as a part of a fanfic, and soon you will understand.
