Creaky and sore, but very glad to be home.

Thank you to everyone for all the thoughts and hugs - they really are appreciated.

I'm taking things very easy at the moment, but hopefully will be able to go and see the ponies tomorrow. Won't be able to do anything, but it will be really nice to see them.

I hope you heal fast. I had a endoscopy done in 2004 that was done in a similar way to your appendectomy and I was back to normal in no time. I hope your recovery is equally as speedy.

Of course, everyone knows the key to recovery is making sure one perfects the all-important invalid whine, which can of course only be cured by cake...
