Death on the road

I've seen road kill. I don't ever remember killing anything myself but last night I saw the most horrible thing I've seen in a long time. I was taking an on ramp and there was a raccoon frantically trying to move off the road. It's back legs were crushed and and it was trying to drag itself off as cars sped past. I'm going to see those eyes in

Ironically, June 4th was the anniversary of the death of my cat by someone's car.

I know what you mean though. There are so many things in my mind that I wish I could "un-see".
