Casshern isn't mecha, per se. It's just that most of the characters are robots.

MF is still ace, tho. o/

That's still like, half and half mecha/robots to everything else, which is pretty high for me, since I tend to hit mecha shows every one in four series of anime to watch normally? So I may go off and watch some live action stuff in there too to switch it up. Casahern is probably going to be reserved for when I need something high concept to gawk at.

I admit my reasoning for watching that show is pretty shallow. I'm in it for the ridiculous only.

IT IS PRETTY RIDICULOUS. The only way it would have been better is if Miyano and Midorikawa had switched roles. Because then it would have been Tamaki and Fairy. Although, I give the show props for not making me hate Hiro Yuuki anymore.
