I succumbed and bought Bucky O'Hare on DVD. It's just too good. The opening title theme... classic 80s rap style with the fantastic "Captain Bucky O'Hare!" motif punctuating it. So damn good. Ah, when cartoons truly were cartoons

steve is the immensely enthusiastic, disconcertingly intense music student - and, as sleeperwaking says, one of the only rocksoc people without silly hair. I'd not noticed him until he came to the Pickerel a fortnight ago, and also to the last Calling, but apparently he's been around a while, and has had a set at WUS in the past.
I'm another person who didn't socialise much within my college, and I don't really regret it. No doubt there were lots of interesting people in college, but there were more obviously interesting people in other places, and there isn't time to get to know everybody. But that might just be my own antisocial tendencies speaking - I'm sure knowing people in college is a Good Thing, but really not essential.

Just thirding, or whatever, that I don't tend to socialise in college and have still made many excellent friends through rocksoc, gothsoc, etc. I am at Magdalene, though, so it's probably best that I don't bother!

I just sometimes think, "Hmm, can't be arsed cooking, wonder if anyone's going to the buttery?" and then realise I don't actually have any means of contacting people. Also, next year I think we have to pair up for rooming purposes, so it'd be nice to find someone with some mutual liking action first.
