I was just wondering where you'd gone - mainly because I was looking through my photos from Budapest and was thinking whether your experience there was similar to mine. Though, as I never wrote the review, it'd be hard to compare...

Still mean to write some sort of review of the summer. I'm waiting until I get a computer desk though, can't get the hang of epic posts with a laptop perched on my knees.

Yay for house buying! I am just starting out on my house-hunting adventure. (I OTOH have a shower but no bath.)

My bungalow has a shower and no bath too! I only ever take baths when there isn't a shower though, so I'm not bothered by that much. Best of luck with your house hunting! Don't just search rightmove but look at individual estate agents too - if you drive/walk around the areas you're interested in, take a note of whose signs are about and the relevent streets/house numbers. :)

Heheheh. Well, I think he's much less crazy and loud whilst sober anyway. Actually I might bump into you sometime after Christmas - doing an 11 month course at Rugby College so will definitely be out and about in Coventry and Leam.

Indeed I am! Just about anyway. :P Sweden was awesome but I only had a morning to look around so I'm planning to go back at some point. Coincidentally, Sam L is planning to go to Inferno this year. Scandinavian trip? Speaking of festivals, I'm keeping an eye on the Ragnarok festival line up. Looks fairly good so far, can take or leave Midnattsol and Haggard though. Also looked at Winternoise but I think it's gone too far into the more extreme stuff for me to be excited. Have you seen the apology on the Kaltenbach website? Sounds like they had a complete mightmare! Good news about moving back to the old festival site though. :D You looking at any festivals?

Anyway, enough of that. How're you getting on? Got any plans for christmas/New Year?

Job hunting and thesis writing. I've had a couple of agencies ring me up, asking if they can forward my CV to their clients- one decided they weren't going to hire anyone after all, have to submit a scan of my passport to the other as proof of my right to work here. Have had several e-mails of the "thanks, but you haven't got any experience so go away" variety. The job I'm hoping to get, but prolly won't, is the graduate publishing editor at the Science journal. I'm praying that no one with any publishing experience applies, lol ( ... )
