Brad Renfro would've been 29 years old today. I always get melancholy on his birthday because I wanted to see him grow old and keep making films. I followed him from his debut film, The Client, in 1994 all the way to the end. I still remember seeing him on TV that summer in interviews talking about how excited he was to be in a film. That's a great picture of him. His death was so sad.

You've made me think about Heath Ledger and especially River Phoenix.

They're deaths were just so tragic.

It was sad. I knew he could do so much more, if only he hadn't let drugs dictate his life.

Oh my gosh, yes, those deaths were tragic indeed.

That is a great pic of him. I always hate when actors or singers die so young.

My sisters and I were obsessed with the movie Tom and Huck because my middle sister loved JTT and my oldest sister and I loved Brad Renfro.

It is sad when they're so young.

I remember watching Tom and Huck film just for him. My younger sister and I used to argue over who got to have the crush on him. We loved how he looked in Sleepers and Bully. :)
