I kinda remember... feeling, I guess? Not so much visual stuff, though, mostly blurs. I remember like where it hurt when, if that'd help ya any.

I-I don't think that sort of info is really necessary. [She falters.] I mean, it's sort of different for everyone, right?

[ The deliberately easy-sounding sarcasm that had been in his voice suddenly drops, goes flat. ]

Yeah... answers the question, though, don't it?

[Troubled, she replies:] Yes. Yes, it does.

Never been gone.

[She was responding through the journal but she's in the house right now, and it doesn't seem right to reply 'thout peeking her head through Buffy's doorway.]

You doing okay?

[Buffy looks up from the porch step, staring quietly at Faith before answering.]

What if he did get taken again because he insists on sleeping on the couch all the time? I mean, it's been three times, now.

[...Um. Faith stares blankly at Buffy for a few seconds.]

He's hardly Mr. One and Only when it comes to sneaky alien abductions, B. I really don't think his pick of sleeping arrangements is what keeps catching their eye.

[She shakes her head.] I mean, I know that. But after he kept being all insisty about the couch thing? Like he believed it'd keep any of us from getting taken, because they'd take him instead.

[Give her an impossible situation, and she'll find a way to make it all about her and how it's her fault. Little Miss Dramatically Self-Centered.]

[Huh. Normally, Seth doesn't bother people in wolf form, but there's something about that book that interests him. He'll paw gently at her lap and gesture towards the book as if to say, "what's that?"]

[What the f---? Buffy, startled into snapping the book shut, leans away in a very rational instinct to avoid what is usually a terrifying animal. But she doesn't suspect werewolf. It doesn't cross her mind. After all, he doesn't look like the were-types from her world.

Right now? She's going to try sitting exceptionally still.]

[Oh dear. Seth blinks as he watches her... and then he snorts. So much for being the silent type.]

I'm not going to eat you or anything. So stop freaking out, kay?

Not freaking...just--healthy concern. This didn't exactly end well for Red Riding Hood, you know?

[Her eyes narrow. Talking wolf? Huh.]

[Slightly startled, she looks up with a hesitant and rather weak smile.]

Hmm--? Oh, Estelle. Hi. What's up?

Work stuff. Of the researchy variety. Not very interesting, I'm afraid. More like very dry.
