I know several stories, many of them with twists. I can relate them or sing them, if you want.

You can sing stories?

It's more like that there are songs that I know that describe a story or had a promotional video that told a story. So I'm perfectly capable of relating the story or just sing the song, though sometimes the songs by themselves may not be clear enough for the story to be understood.

Then again there's some beauty in each person taking their own interpretation of a story, don't you think?

Sounds a little bit like English class to me.

[Because if she does he wants to hear it.]

It's pretty much the subplot to any cheesy daytime drama worth its...soap.

Sounds incredibly subplotish to me, then again I'm not a fan of soap operas.

I've got one about a taxi-driver. It's a bit morbid though.

Well.. he was diagnosed a brain aneurism and with that in mind, he began a murder spree. The police thought were serial suicides for a couple of months until they found the fourth body.

Well, there's a story from the world I'm from. It's mostly a legend told to children these days, but it was important enough that a body of water was named after the central character.

Oh? [ this sounds like it could be more promising than murderous taxi-drivers and flying porkbuns. ] I'm all ears. Figuratively.

[He smiles at the clarification, but quickly settles in to tell the story.]

Once, long ago, before the modern era, my world's nations were not yet set into stone, but were developing into the countries they would later become. And there were several wars over the borders of land that were contested.

However, all the fighting and the bloodshed awoke something... primal. Something far more powerful than anything people could imagine.

The Demon of Razgriz.

Fighting and bloodshed has this bad habit of doing that.

[ ... ] So, a demon?

All of the stories I could come up with are pretty creepy. Are you sure you want to go there?

...I'll deal. Creepy's kinda like a main-stay in most of mine, too.

That's right, I should have realized. All of mine seem to involve murder or mayhem of some kind. Just comes with the job description.

[Takes a moment, he's had a lot of bizarre twists on cases he's dealt with. Hm. Narrows it down before finally settling on one.]

Ok, this takes place in a town of circus people. It's got a varying cast of characters... an alligator man, a conjoined twin, a midget - right, fine, hotel manager- a contortionist, a naked-jigsaw-tattooed man who eats everything and anything...
