[Someone's kicking off her week of not-tending-bar-even-once with style! Buffy has been out "shopping" around Luceti's stores for the latest in whatever she chooses to accept as Fall Fashion. Retail therapy is pretty much the best way to try and forget spending a whole hallucinatory ordeal involving all kinds of nastiness. This means that she is ( Read more... )

And that's the only way?

[Maybe Bones' phobia has rubbed off on her.]

[While Buffy is on her way home, Kurt will suddenly appear in her path. Quite literally, with a sudden BAMF. Not even facing her! That's what happens when you teleport from the tops of buildings to the ground, unaware that someone could be walking behind that tree that was blocking your line of sight. Oops.]

[Well, Buffy certainly didn't expect a person to appear from nowhere before her. So she just keeps a-walking into the space that isn't supposed to be Kurt-filled and yet, suddenly, it is. Oh, piffle. The precariously balanced paper bag of various sundries tips out of her arms and finds a new home on the floor.

One bottle of blood rolls waywardly away--towards Kurt's feet--while a second happily smashes itself into a goopy mess all over Buffy's newly acquired brown leather boots.

The Slayer curses.] Great--now how'm I supposed to fix that with no drycleaners in sight.

[Oof, that was unexpected. He turns around in surprise to find... her standing there. And cursing, at that!]

Oh, sorry. I didn't see you... [He looks down at that bottle. Then her booths.] ... what kind of wine is that?

Do you think you need to have read lots of books in order to write one?

Well, I have been complimented on my language use before.

[And by complimented she means...not-complimented.]

I suppose that means that any other handicrafts are out of the picture, too, then. [She sounds rather drained, but that's probably a given after last week.]

No--just knitting. It's too old-ladyish for me.

Hmm. Well, something like that might be a good hobby. It takes up time and you get something useful out of it in the end.

Useful if you're big on knitted things. But beyond scarf? I'm...not exactly sold.

[OOC Ping by hotsprings: Raven built a bath house up there back in April with mod permission.]

This place has hotsprings, are ya serious?!

Yep! People have talked about them, but I've never gone...[She does remember Raven's involvement, though. A memory she keeps carefully in her back pocket, wary of freaking him out with things he won't remember doing.]

[Someone should probably tell him so he can take care of it. I get so many IM's asking me if he did build a bathhouse it's unreal.]

Oh? Why haven't ya been yet if ya know about them? Hot Springs are great in the colder months! Warms ya up nicely!

I wasn't sold on the whole idea, initially. Never been to hot springs ever.
